North America Map
Most continent maps of North America are drawn from a U.S. desk. This one comes out of the Atlas of Canada, published by Natural Resources Canada, so the northern half of the continent gets the same cartographic attention as the southern half. It is a straightforward general reference sheet: populated places, transportation routes, and the drainage network, with land areas colored country by country so borders and dependencies read instantly across the room.
That clarity is why it works in logistics offices, university geography departments, and conference rooms where someone needs to point at a place and be understood.
- Drawn at a scale of 1:10 000 000
- Detailed coverage of populated places, transportation routes, and the drainage network
- Land areas colored to distinguish individual countries and dependencies
- Three inset maps: the Aleutian Islands of Alaska, Hawaii, and a North America relief inset with significant mountain elevations
- Table of road mileages between major cities
Map Shop finishes it as paper, laminated, mounted to foam core, railed, or framed in black or walnut molding.
