Return Policy

The Map Shop is a family-run company and our first priority is to make sure you are completely happy with your order. If you’re not satisfied with the quality of your product, please contact us and we’ll do everything in our power to make you happy.

Stock Items

We offer free returns within 30 days for any of our in-stock products. These include items such as folding maps, books, map pins, etc. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your product to receive a return authorization number. Once received, please repackage the item(s) back up and you can write on the box and ship back to us. We will issue your return within three days of receiving the product back.

It is important to note that we do not refund the initial shipping charges and you’re responsible for shipping charges to get the product back to us unless we made a mistake in the order. If you have any questions on if your order qualities for a return, please CONTACT US.

Non-Returnable Items

Items like NOAA Charts, Custom Maps, Maps with insignias, Special Order Items (Globes, High-Quality Maps, Clearance, etc.) are not returnable. These are items that we created, printed on demand, or ordered on a by-order basis order and don’t normally carry in stock.

Finishes such as Martin Mount & Framed are also not returnable as they went through production on a by-order basis by our team. If you have any questions on if your order qualities for a return, please CONTACT US.

Damaged Product

If your product arrives damaged, please CONTACT US within three days of receiving the package. We need to hear from you quickly so we have time to file a claim with the company that shipped your products. We will need a picture of the outside of the package, the inside of the package and the damage. We will ship you a replacement product free of charge.
