California Shaded Relief Map
California has some of the most varied terrain in the country, and a shaded relief map is the clearest way to see it. This Kappa Map Group edition uses light and shadow to show the state’s topography, from the Sierra Nevada and Mount Whitney, the highest point in the lower 48, down to Death Valley, the lowest point in North America.
The relief makes the physical geography read at a glance:
- The Sierra Nevada, Cascade Range, and Mount Shasta
- The Central Valley between the coast and the mountains
- The Coast Ranges and the Pacific shoreline
- The Mojave Desert and the Colorado River in the southeast
It keeps cities, county lines, and highways for reference, but the elevation detail is the point. A clear California topographic map for classrooms and geography lessons.
