War of 1812 Wall Map
This War of 1812 wall map from Kappa Map Group, part of its Classroom Series, lays the whole North American theater out at once so a teacher can walk a class from the Great Lakes frontier down to the Gulf Coast without switching slides.
The map shows:
- British and American victories across the North American theater
- U.S. victories over Native American forces
- British troop movements and American troop movements
- Forts across the frontier and coastal defenses
- The extent of the British Naval Blockade along the Atlantic seaboard
It meets U.S. History curriculum requirements and is used in public, private, parochial, and home school settings, from middle school survey courses to high school AP review walls.
Order it on paper, laminated, mounted to foam core, framed in black or walnut molding, or on a spring roller with backboard. Map Shop can also build custom history roller sets of two to eight maps on a single system, which is how most department heads outfit a shared history classroom.
