Glacier National Park Raised Relief Map
Glacier National Park covers 1,583 square miles of Montana’s Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. This Hubbard Scientific relief map renders that terrain in three dimensions, formed by heat-treating rigid vinyl and vacuum-forming it over a custom park mold.
Going-to-the-Sun Road crosses the middle of the map, and the ridges on either side hold the park’s 26 named glaciers.
- Terrain features include the Lewis and Livingston ranges, the Continental Divide, hanging valleys and cirques
- More than 700 miles of hiking trails, including the route to Hidden Lake
- Wildlife country for mountain goats and grizzly bears
- Color and shading show altitude change alongside the physical relief
- Suits visitor centers, home offices, classrooms and hikers planning backcountry routes
Map Shop offers this as a one-of-a-kind, tactile way to explore one of America’s most dramatic national parks.
