Oregon 3D Raised Relief Map by Hubbard Scientific
The Cascades cut Oregon in two. West of the crest the state is wet, forested and low. East of it the ground opens into high desert plateau. A flat map gives both the same visual weight.
This Map Shop relief map starts as a flat print on rigid vinyl, then gets heat-treated and vacuum-formed over a custom terrain mold built from real elevation data. Mountains rise, valleys drop, and color and shading carry elevation change across the physical surface. A technical artist hand finishes every piece, so each one comes out slightly different.
- The Cascade Range with Mount Hood as the state high point, plus Mount Jefferson and the Three Sisters
- Crater Lake sitting inside the collapsed caldera of Mount Mazama
- The Columbia River Gorge cutting a sea level route through the range
- The Willamette Valley west of the Cascades, with the Coast Range beyond it
- The Wallowa Mountains and the Blue Mountains across the northeast
- High desert through the southeast, including Steens Mountain
Hang it in a living room, an office or a classroom. It functions as a reference map of the Beaver State and as wall decor at the same time.
