Gros Morne National Park Map
Few places in eastern North America show their geology this plainly. Gros Morne sits on Newfoundland’s west coast where the Long Range Mountains, the northern end of the Appalachians, drop into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and where the Tablelands expose rock from the Earth’s mantle at the surface. That terrain is the point of this map: GoTrekkers built it as topographic shaded relief, so the fjord walls above Western Brook Pond and the highland plateau read as landform, not flat color.
It began life as a folding trail map and was expanded into a wall-size print by Map Shop, which makes it equally at home in a lodge lobby, an outfitter’s shop, or the home office of someone who hiked the James Callaghan route and wants the proof on the wall.
- Topographic shaded relief cartography by GoTrekkers, English language
- Folding trail map expanded to wall format
- Waterproof paper available for outdoor use
- Finishing choices: paper, satin lamination, foam core mounting, black or walnut rails, framing
