Arizona Raised Relief Map
Arizona changes elevation faster than almost any other state. The Colorado Plateau sits above 7,000 feet in the north. The Sonoran Desert floor drops under 1,000 feet in the south. This map puts that difference under your hand.
Each map is printed on high-grade rigid vinyl under the Hubbard Scientific brand, then heat-treated and vacuum-formed by Map Shop’s technical artists over a custom Arizona terrain mold. Color and shading run across the molded surface, so the elevation bands separate without anyone reading a legend.
Terrain the relief brings out:
- The Grand Canyon cut into the Colorado Plateau, with the Colorado River running through it
- The Mogollon Rim, the escarpment that splits the plateau from the country below
- The Central Highlands and their ranges through the middle of the state
- Sonoran Desert basin and range country around Phoenix and south toward the border
Available unframed, mounted on foam core, or framed in black or walnut molding, with no glass over the relief.
