Amérique du Nord carte murale
Most continental maps of North America are drawn from a United States point of view. This one comes out of Ottawa, from the Atlas of Canada reference map series published by Natural Resources Canada, so the Arctic Archipelago, Hudson Bay and the northern territories carry the same weight as the Gulf Coast and the Sierra Madre.
The map works at a continental reference scale and keeps the detail useful rather than decorative.
- Scale of 1:10,000,000 across the continent
- Populated places, transportation networks and the hydrographic system
- Land areas colored by country, with maritime areas shaded by bathymetry
- Inset of Hawaii drawn at the same 1:10,000,000 scale
- Second inset of North America at 1:53,000,000 showing relief and elevations
- Distance table between major cities
A solid reference sheet for French immersion classrooms, university geography departments, government affairs offices and logistics teams planning cross-border routes. Map Shop finishes it in paper, lamination, foam core mounting, rails or a framed presentation.
