Pacific-Centered Hexagonal World Map
Most world maps slice the Pacific in half at the edges. This one sets it in the middle. Oxford Cartographers drew the map on a Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area projection centered on 165 degrees West, so the ocean holds together as a single basin, with the Americas curving away on one side and Asia, Australia and the Pacific islands on the other.
Every landmass is built from hexagons. Elevation reads through colored land height layers, which turns the continents into a mosaic of lowlands, plateaus and mountain belts rather than a conventional relief wash. The effect is graphic and clean, closer to design than to atlas cartography.
Map Shop finishes it in house. Available options include:

- 1.7mil satin lamination for wet-erase markers
