Minneapolis Portrait Street Map
The Mississippi River cuts Minneapolis on a diagonal, and the street grid shifts character on either side of it. This map from MapSherpa uses the tall format to hold that north-to-south run of the city on one sheet, with street labeling dense enough to read at the block level.
- All roads drawn, with major roads and highways labeled
- Neighborhood names across the city, from Northeast to the lakes district
- Railways and rail corridors
- Land use shading for parks and recreation areas, industrial areas, and hospital campuses
- Points of interest including schools, libraries, stadiums, and museums
Dispatchers use it to sequence home service calls, sales managers to split territory between the downtown core and the outer neighborhoods, and real estate teams to talk listings through with clients at the office wall.
Finishing is chosen at checkout. Paper prints on premium 36lb stock. Lamination adds 1.7mil satin gloss front and back for wet-erase markers. Mounting to quarter-inch foam core takes map pins, and black or walnut rails or framing from Map Shop make it ready to hang.
