Colour Blind Friendly South America Map
Standard classroom maps present a common problem: most rooms have at least one child who is colour blind, and conventional green-to-brown relief shading becomes illegible for them. Cosmographics built this map around that problem, choosing a palette that reads clearly under any form of colour blindness while still looking bright and inviting on the wall.
This is a children’s physical map, with emphasis on landform over politics: relief across the continent and the elevation story that runs from the Andes down to the Amazon Basin, plus the seabed of the surrounding Pacific and Atlantic rendered with the same care as the land.
- Main physical features shown on land and on the ocean floor
- Colour palette tested to work with any type of colour vision deficiency
- Facts box for quick classroom reference
- English language, published by Cosmographics
- Finishing options include paper, laminated for wet-erase markers, foam core mounting for pins, wood rails, and framing
A strong choice for elementary and middle school geography rooms, home school walls, and school libraries.
