Concrete, WA Raised Relief Map
The Concrete sheet is a USGS 1:250,000 quadrangle, and the town it is named for takes up one small corner. The rest is North Cascades, some of the most rugged alpine terrain in the contiguous United States.
Map Shop forms this map on rigid vinyl under the Hubbard Scientific brand, heat-treating and vacuum-forming each print over a mold cut from the NM 10-12 sheet. Shaded relief carries the elevation, and on this sheet there is a great deal of it.
- North Cascades National Park and the Stephen Mather Wilderness
- Mount Baker and Mount Baker National Forest
- Glacier Peak and the Glacier Peak Wilderness
- The Pasayten Wilderness across the eastern side
- Ross Lake, Baker Lake, and the north end of Lake Chelan
- Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests
- Concrete and Granite Falls on the western approaches
Available unframed, mounted on foam core, or framed in black or walnut molding, with no glass so the relief stays reachable.
