Willmore Wilderness Park Topographic Map
Willmore Wilderness Park is one of the few places left in the Alberta Rockies where you can walk for days without crossing a road. This map from GoTrekkers covers that backcountry along the eastern slopes and the Jasper National Park terrain to its south, rendered as shaded relief so the ridgelines, valleys, and drainages read at a glance.
It began life as a GoTrekkers folding map and was expanded into a wall format, which is why the detail holds up close. Drawn at 1:125,000, it is tight enough for route planning rather than general reference. Horse packers, outfitters, backcountry hikers, and guiding operations use it as a planning wall in a trip room or lodge office.
Map Shop finishes it in house with several options:
- Laminated copies take wet-erase markers for sketching routes
- Mounted on quarter-inch foam core, the map holds pins for camps and trailheads
- Rails or a frame in black or walnut molding arrive ready to hang
