Central Canada Wall Map
The Central Canada wall map pulls one of the busiest sheets out of National Geographic’s Atlas of the World, 11th Edition and offers it on its own. Coverage centers on the Great Lakes region and the provinces around it, rendered with both physical and political detail so the shield country, the lake basins, and the settled corridor read at a glance.
Shaded relief does most of the work here. It is the same relief treatment National Geographic has used on its wall maps for more than 75 years, paired with a bright, legible color palette and label placement that keeps busy areas readable rather than crowded.
- Drawn at 1:2,351,000 scale
- Albers Conic Equal-Area projection, with two standard parallels chosen to minimize distortion across the region
- Physical and political content on a single sheet, in English
- Available on paper, laminated, mounted to foam core, with black or walnut rails, or framed
Geography and environmental science teachers use it for terrain instruction. It also holds up as reference on a home office or conference room wall. Available through Map Shop.
