United States Primary Classroom Pull Down Map
Most United States classroom maps are built for older students. This map solves that: oversized type, high-contrast state colors, and only the labels a grade 1 to 5 learner actually needs. Developed with working teachers and revised on a rolling basis, so state and city data stays current. Printed by Map Shop and mounted on a spring roller with a backboard, it pulls down over a whiteboard and retracts flat.
- Albers Equal Area Projection, keeping state proportions accurate across the contiguous 48
- Separate insets for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico
- State capitals and major cities labeled, plus degree lines for grid-reading practice
- Oceans, mountain ranges, major rivers, and lakes shown alongside political boundaries
- Choose the Flags edition, or the Educational Panels edition adding population density, an elevation ramp with shaded relief and a side-on elevation profile, and color-coded time zones for the lower 48
A fit for elementary classroom walls, parochial school rooms, and home school teaching spaces.
