North America Advanced Political Pull Down Map

This pull down map from BrightWay Educational combines political framework and physical geography on one sheet, with shaded relief under the color fills so terrain and borders can be read together. It hangs on a spring roller with a backboard, pulling down over a whiteboard or projector screen and retracting when not in use.

  • Azimuthal equidistant projection, chosen to hold landmass proportions across the continent with minimal distortion
  • National capitals, major cities, secondary cities, and disputed borders labeled
  • Georeference and degree lines for teaching the global grid and coordinate reading
  • Ocean surface currents and bathymetric relief alongside mountain ranges, islands, rivers, and lakes
  • Available in a Flags edition or an Educational Panels edition, which adds population density and elevation and terrain panels with an elevation ramp

Spring rollers are the classic way large wall maps are displayed in classrooms, but the vintage style is also gaining popularity as interior design pieces at home or in the office. Pull the maps down when you need them and roll them away when you don't.

Each map is laminated then installed on the spring roller. The map in the back will have a pulldown bar to pull the map down and retract the map when you're done. A mounting bracket in included for installation but hardware for securing the bracket to your wall type will need to be purchased at your local hardware store depending on your wall material.
