Americas Classic Wall Map
Two continents on one sheet, from the Arctic coast of Canada down to Tierra del Fuego, drawn in the National Geographic Classic style: bright blue oceans, clearly defined borders, and the shaded relief that has been a signature of their wall maps for over 75 years.
The Americas Classic wall map carries thousands of place names along with accurate political boundaries, archeological sites, and the infrastructure that stitches the hemisphere together: roads, railroads, canals, ferry routes, and airports. Coastal waters are rendered with bathymetric depth curves and soundings, and additional symbolism for rivers, lakes, and landforms fills in the character of the terrain. A physical map of the Americas appears as an inset for relief without the political overlay.
The fonts stay readable from across a room, suiting a Spanish classroom, a family room wall, or the lobby of a firm with clients in Latin America. Map Shop finishes it as paper, laminated, mounted to foam core, railed, or framed in black or walnut.
