1826 Mexico Wall Map
This map catches the young republic near its greatest territorial reach, five years after independence from Spain and two years after the federal constitution of 1824. Alta California, Nuevo Mexico, and Tejas still sat inside Mexican borders, and the Central American provinces had only recently gone their own way. Texas independence was a decade off. The cession that followed the Mexican-American War was two decades off.
Map Shop produces this English-language reproduction from a high-resolution scan of the original 1826 sheet, digitally restored to clear defects while keeping the character of the engraved linework. Finishing choices include:

- Satin lamination on both faces
- Mounting to quarter-inch foam core for use with map pins
- Top and bottom wood rails in black or walnut
- Full framing
A favorite of history teachers covering westward expansion, borderlands researchers, collectors of Southwestern Americana, and designers filling a study, law office, or library wall.
