Human Condition: Progress and Ongoing Struggle
Human development index data lands harder on a wall than in a spreadsheet. This map pulls National Geographic’s global well-being research out of the Atlas of the World, 10th Edition and puts it in one framed view, so a seminar room or a nonprofit office can compare inequality across continents at a glance.
Five thematic map panels carry the content:
- Assessing Human Rights, mapping political and civil freedoms country by country
- Human Development Index, the UN composite of life expectancy, education, and income
- Mapping School Enrollment
- Ranking the Poor
- Measuring Global Literacy
Social studies teachers, geography and development studies instructors, home school parents, and international NGO staff use it as a discussion anchor for units on globalization, poverty, and human rights.
Map Shop prints it on premium paper or finishes it with satin lamination, foam core mounting, black or walnut rails, or a full frame. Laminated copies take wet-erase markers; mounted copies hold map pins.
