I ordered this map as a present for my husband and he is the type to not only ask for a map for a present but then pick it out and send me a link for it. So I asked him what he thought about his map and he went off on a tangent about Mercator projections and how the UN recently adopted a measure to use some other projection. Useful, right? The map hangs really well. It was easy to roll out of the box and put on the wall. We’ll see how well it travels when we inevitably move. We got ours framed and it looks great and has held up well for nearly a year in a busy house where little humans constantly destroy things. I think we had to move a few other things to make room on the wall (like other maps!), but that’s to be expected. It’s got great information on it. Husband said he was surprised by the amount of oceanography included, but he likes all the land info. He’s talked about one day buying a 3D topographical world map, but probably when our kids won’t destroy it…hopefully. Thanks for asking and for making a great map.
