Lake Waubesa Depth Map
Lake Waubesa sits third in the Yahara chain below Lake Monona, a shallow, wind-swept bowl on Dane County’s south side where the mud flats, weed edges and rock humps decide where fish hold. This depth map from Mapping Specialists renders the lake bottom as a shaded 3D surface rather than flat contour lines, so the drop-offs and shallow shelves read at a glance from across the room.
Boat launches are marked, along with rock areas and vegetation beds. The surrounding land is high-resolution aerial imagery, so McFarland, the shoreline homes and the marsh ground toward Mud Lake appear as they actually look from above.
Map Shop prints it on premium 36lb paper, with satin lamination, foam core mounting, black or walnut rails, and framed finishes available. Anglers, lake association members and shoreline property owners hang it in cabins, boathouses and home offices, and the mounted version takes pins for marking spots.
