Petenwell is a Wisconsin River flowage in Adams and Juneau counties, the second largest lake in the state. The bottom is uneven, full of old channels, rock structure, and submerged vegetation left over from before the dam went in. A normal lake map flattens all of that. This one shows it.
What’s on the sheet:
- 3D representation of the lake bottom
- Marked boat launches
- Rock areas and vegetation in the water
- High resolution aerial imagery of the surrounding land
Anglers chasing walleye and musky, boaters working unfamiliar water, and lake home owners who want one solid wall reference all use this map. Cartography is by Mapping Specialists.
