Lake Namakagon
Lake Namakagon sits in the woods of Bayfield County, northwest Wisconsin, just east of Cable and surrounded by the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. It is the headwaters of the Namekagon River, and it is the kind of lake people fish for decades and still argue about where the good rock is.
This Lake Namakagon map from Mapping Specialists handles that argument. The lake bottom is rendered as a shaded three dimensional surface, so drop-offs, humps, and holes read at a glance instead of forcing you to interpret a stack of contour lines.
- Three dimensional visual representation of the lake bottom
- Rock areas and vegetation marked across the basin
- Boat launch locations identified
- Land area shown in high resolution aerial imagery, so shoreline development, roads, and forest cover are visible
Map Shop finishes it your way: laminated for wet-erase markers, mounted to foam core if you want to pin spots, or framed in black or walnut for the cabin wall. Popular with muskie anglers, guides, lake association members, and anyone with a place on the shore.
