National Geographic Italy Wall Map
Lifted directly from the 11th Edition Atlas of the World and reproduced at atlas quality as a stand-alone print, this map combines physical and political content on one sheet. It features shaded relief across the Alpine arc, the Apennine spine, and the Po Valley, along with political boundaries, place names, and the seas around Sicily and Sardinia. Type placement follows National Geographic’s atlas conventions, keeping labels legible even where the peninsula gets crowded.
The color palette uses the familiar National Geographic treatment of blue oceans and soft relief shading used on their wall maps for more than 75 years.
- Drawn in the Albers Conic Equal-Area projection, with two standard parallels between which distortion is minimized
- Scale of 1:1,796,000, English labeling
- Finishing through Map Shop: 36lb premium paper, 1.7mil satin-gloss lamination, foam core mounting, black or walnut rails, or full framing
A clean fit for geography classrooms, a home office wall, or a traveler planning a Tuscany trip.
