Sagittarius Constellation Art Print
The Archer rides low in the southern summer sky, pointing his arrow toward the heart of the Milky Way. This print from City Prints treats that star pattern as cartography, mapping the Archer the way City Prints maps a city grid. The sign’s dates, November 22 to December 21, are part of the piece.
The zodiac started as a working calendar. Ancient astrologers read twelve constellations to time planting and harvest. The horoscope column came much later.
Unframed prints are produced on 105# Stardream Pearlescent Paper, a heavy stock with a faint metallic shimmer, with a SKU in the top right of the back so hanging orientation is never a guess.
- The poly frame uses black heavy polystyrene molding and no glass overlay, which lets that shimmer read under lamplight.
- The wood frame adds a soft white acid-free bevel-cut mat behind crystal-clear acrylic.
- Gallery-wrapped canvas prints directly on canvas.
Pairs well with other signs above a bed or along a stairwell gallery wall, and holds up in a dorm room or reading nook.
