Hawaii Map Art Print by City Prints
Hawaii is the only state made entirely of islands, and that archipelago shape does something no square Midwestern state can: the chain reads as art before it reads as geography. City Prints builds on that, spreading Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui and Hawaii Island across the page in a palette drawn from the state flag, the red, white and blue of those eight stripes standing in for the eight major islands.
This print is graphic rather than navigational, closer to modern art than to a reference map, which is why it works over a console table or behind a desk instead of in a planning room.
Map Shop offers this print in several formats:
- Unframed on 105# Stardream Pearlescent Paper, a heavy stock with a faint metallic shimmer that shifts as light crosses it
- Poly framed in black polystyrene
- Genuine wood frame with an acid free white mat under crystal clear acrylic
- Gallery wrapped on canvas
