Beijing at Night Map Art
This piece renders the Chinese capital as pure light, letting the city’s layout do the work. The concentric ring roads glow in nested rectangles. The imperial axis running through the Forbidden City and Tiananmen splits the core. Haidian and Chaoyang spread outward in dense grids of illuminated streets.
City Prints does not use satellite photography for these pieces. The image is computer-generated from map and building data, which reads sharper and more vibrant than an actual orbital photograph.
Finishing options:
- Unframed prints on 105# Stardream Pearlescent paper with a metallic shimmer.
- Poly frame with black heavy polystyrene molding, no glass overlay, sealed dust cover.
- Wood frame with soft white acid-free bevel-cut mat and crystal-clear acrylic overlay.
- Gallery-wrapped canvas stretched over wood stretcher bars with braced corners.
Hanging hardware is attached to every framed and canvas option. Map Shop prints each one on demand, so returns do not apply.
