Art print of the Louisiana Flag.

Louisiana Flag Art Print by City Prints

A fine art rendering of the Louisiana state flag, part of City Prints’ flag series covering countries, states, and cities. This is a fine art print, not a map — no cities, parishes, roads, or borders are shown.

  • Publisher: City Prints
  • Series: City Prints flag art collection
  • Subject: the Louisiana state flag
  • Central emblem: a mother pelican feeding her young, the heraldic image known as the pelican in her piety
  • Field: the flag’s deep blue background
  • Motto: the white ribbon reading “Union, Justice and Confidence”

Popular for home offices, Cajun and Creole restaurants, and dorm rooms. Interior designers use it to anchor a Gulf South themed room. Real estate agents in New Orleans and Acadiana have been known to gift it to buyers moving into a new home.

Map Shop stocks this print for shoppers who want state pride on the wall without a road map attached.
