Toronto City Prints Map Art

Toronto map art from City Prints reads as modern graphic design first and a city map second. The street network of Ontario’s largest city is rendered in blocks of color pulled from the city’s own flag palette, so it hangs like abstract art until someone steps close and finds their neighborhood.

Published by City Prints, part of their fine art city series.
Subject is Toronto, Ontario, Canada, drawn from the city’s street and shoreline geometry.
Color scheme takes its cues from the Toronto city flag rather than standard cartographic tints.
Unframed prints use 105# Stardream Pearlescent paper, a heavy stock with a metallic shimmer, with a SKU printed at the top right of the back to help orient the piece for hanging.
Poly frame option uses black polystyrene molding with no glass or acrylic overlay, sealed with a dust cover and silver hanging hardware.
Wood frame option adds a bevel cut acid free white mat under a crystal clear acrylic overlay.
Gallery wrapped canvas is printed directly on canvas and stretched over braced wood stretcher bars, ready to hang.
Printed on demand at Map Shop, so these are not eligible for return.
