The Mapsquatch is a hotly debated topic among wildlife experts and cartographers alike. There has been much debate over the years about the Mapsquatch – its origins, its movements, and behavior.  We can confirm a recent sighting at the Map Shop. [See the undeniable scientific evidence here.] An adult male blue and brown Mapsquatch was spotted in our warehouse looking for goodies to give away.

While very little is known about Mapsquatches- we do know that this particular Mapsquatch apparently loves to set up sweepstakes and distribute map-related prizes to humans.  But why is he compelled to give so many maps away? 

Here is one of the many theories that has been circulating within the Mapquatcher community:

“He’s an exile from Sasquatch society because maps are outlawed (so they can’t be located). He had a whole collection of maps ranging from the prehistoric times until the present. Sadly when he was discovered by his family they turned him in so all the maps he was collecting were destroyed. Now he follows the scent of freshly printed maps to make sure they are going to great new owners!
