United States Topographic Maps
If you’re looking for a topographic map of geography within the United States, the most cost-effective topo option is the US Topo series, produced by the National Geospatial Program of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). These are general-use maps 1:24,000 scale that present elevation (contour lines), hydrography, geographic place names, and points of interests like hospitals, schools, and fire stations.
Each 7.5-minute, 1:24,000 map has an overall size of 21.5″ wide by 29″ tall. The map image is 18.5″ wide by 22.75″ tall. We print the maps on 30lb topographic paper that ships rolled. Current-generation topographic maps are available as well as historic maps from 1884-2006. Each map is $12.95.

Custom United States Topographic Maps
If the standard USGS Topo maps are not a perfect fit, we can create custom topographic maps for you using our in-house map engine. These maps are derived from the modern USGS Topographic series updated on a 3-year cycle and allows for the creation of detailed modern topographic maps for anywhere in the USA. Site centered maps can be made at scales between 1:12,000 and 1:55,000.
We offer seven set sizes that are available in a portrait or landscape composition. We can customize the title on your map that prints on the bottom near the legend: 8.5″ x 11″, 11″ x 17″, 17″ x 22″, 24″ x 36″, 36″ x 48″, 48″ x 60″, 54″ x 70″
