The Map Shop Return Policy
The Map Shop is a family-run company and our first priority is to make sure you are completely satisfied with your order. If you're not satisfied with the quality of your product, please contact us and we'll do everything in our power to make you happy.
If your product arrives damaged, please contact us at 800-532-6675 within three days of receiving the package. We need to hear from you quickly so we have time to file a claim with the company that shipped your products. We will need a picture of the outside of the package, the inside of the package and the damage.
Please note that items like custom maps, framed maps, NOAA Charts, Martin Mounts, maps with personalized insignias or special order items (such as 20-inch and larger diameter floor globes) are not returnable. These are items that we create on demand for each customer or items we special order and don't normally carry in stock.
For items that are eligible for return, please call us within 10 days of receiving your order for a return authorization number. You can reach us at 800-532-6675. Please write or tape this number on the outside of the box when you ship it back to us. Customers will be responsible for the cost of shipping back to us and a 20% restocking fee. Items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted.
