The Map Shop Return Policy

Our return policy makes every effort to fairly balance the customer's need to return merchandise ordered in error with our costs associated with processing those goods.  Neither The Map Shop nor the publishers and manufacturers it represents assume any responsibility for merchandise returned without prior authorization. To arrange for return authorization within 10 days (5 days for Wall Maps) of receipt of goods, call us at 800-532-6675  and request a Return Material Authorization Number (known as an RMA). Returns without an RMA # on the outside of the box or tube will be refused. Returns must be shipped pre-paid in the original carton and are subject to up to a 20% restocking charge. In other words, we will refund what you originally paid less 20%, less the original shipping charge. Items such as custom maps, Martin Mounts with special customer insignias or special ordered items (such as 20 inch diameter floor globes) are not returnable. 

If there are some special circumstances regarding your map and globe needs, we will be glad to address them at the time you place your order. Otherwise we must stick by the above policy to be fair to you and to cover our costs for restocking the returned material.
