Analog map measurer This is Brunton's quality map measurer designed to read in miles. Don't use it for reading feet off of blueprints. It is not designed for that.  It is for maps! However, having properly warned you, there are 63360 inches in a mile. So the scale for 63360 will give you a rough idea of how many inches you have measured. The face has pre-determined map scales and will measure in miles for 1:24K, 1:50K, 1:63360 and 1:100K scales. Return to the map measurer page
