.Grand Canyon Map. Here's the cover and some sample cartography from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon hiking map. Of course this map also covers the famous South Rim too. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is open all year long. What's fascinating to me is the temperature difference between the rim and the bottom of the canyon. Some days it's 30 degrees warmer at the bottom.  What these maps don't show is how narrow these trails are. If you have a fear of heights, this would NOT be a trail you want to be on. The weather might have an effect on you, but not on the magic paper on which this map is printed. It is indestructible.
